Welcoming everyone
Introduce the meeting theme (changes every meeting!)
One to three members present 5-7 minute speeches (Each member gets assigned an evaluator)
Impromptu speaking opportunities!
You can answer an impromptu question. You'll get 1-2 minutes to talk about it (for example: "What's your favorite holiday and why?")
There will be between 3 and 7 questions where you can practice thinking on your feet!
Evaluators give constructive feedback about each speaker who presented a 5-7 minutes speech.
Everyone gets feedback about our participation during the meeting:
Did we all stay on time?
Did we use too many filler words or sounds ("um", "so", "like", etc)
Did we make grammar mistakes? Did we use some cool new words?
Awards! Who did it best today?
Closing our meeting. See you next time!
